General Avalanche Information

There is no active avalanche forecast today. We forecast on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings by 7:00 AM. During significant avalanche cycles, we may update the forecasts on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Please refer to the archives page for the most recent avalanche forecasts. For more information, you can also view the observations page and the weather menu above. 

Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to produce forecasts seven days a week. Please consider donating if you value our work and would like to see us grow and improve our products.

Avalanche conditions can dramatically change in even a few hours. Those entering backcountry areas should be ready to continuously assess conditions and be prepared for any inherent avalanche dangers they may encounter.
